Autumn Care of Raeford is a 140-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, centrally located within 20 miles of Fayetteville, Laurinburg, and Southern Pines. We provide exceptional medical care to our residents, acknowledging their individual needs and preferences. This is home for our residents, and we feel that they deserve the utmost attention, love and care.
We are proud to offer a wide variety of services to our residents, including short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite stays. Our facility medical director, Dr. Robert Townsend, also serves as primary care physician. Autumn Care of Raeford offers in-house medical services such as optometry, mental health, and podiatry services, in an effort to make treatment as convenient as possible for our residents and families. In the event that a resident has outside medical appointments, our transportation department schedules resident appointments and ensures that residents arrive at those appointments in a safe and timely manner. We also have beauticians and barbers who visit regularly to offer our residents a chance to be pampered.
Autumn Care of Raeford is proud to offer “The Pines” to those residents who suffer from memory loss and other related challenges. This special unit provides a loving and compassionate atmosphere in a safe and secured environment. “The Pines” is one of only a few such units in the Hoke County Area.
We think of ourselves as much more than a nursing home. We are a close-knit family that cares about its residents in a special way. As such, we feel that our residents and families are exceptional and we encourage continued family involvement. We have a quarterly Family Forum, which affords our families the chance to get to know our management staff in a comfortable and relaxed setting.
Autumn Care of Raeford understands that choosing a nursing facility is never easy. If you are ever faced with this decision, we hope that you will consider letting your family become a part of our family.
